If you are interested in joining the lab, please read our values and our lab culture, to see if you would be a good fit. Importantly, our lab will be committed to being an inclusive and safe space for scholars from diverse backgrounds.
I am open (and eager) to working with students and scholars on a wide range of ecological interests, approaches to science and study sites/systems.
If you are motivated and have a strong interest in ecology and feel you would be a good fit for the lab, please send me:
PhD Students: You will need to apply through the Department of Biological Sciences Program at LSU. Note that all materials should be submitted September 28 (for Spring admission) or January 3rd (for Fall admission). Please also check the “Funding” section of the Lab Culture link.
Postdocs: I will be advertising a postdoc to join the lab in Fall ’24, but besides that opportunity, I am happy to explore other funding options and working on fellowship proposals. Check the lab culture link to see a few potential funding sources.
Undergraduate students: We are always open to taking undergraduate students who are interested in ecological questions and are looking for research experiences to growth as scientists. Work in the lab can be for research credits or can be for hourly pay (if funded projects are available). If you are interested in this opportunity, send me an email to [email protected].
